Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
- Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Project Management (ADPM) and in collaboration with the technical Principal Investigators, the Project Manager is responsible for supporting the research and business services activities in the management of research projects at the Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence & Security (ARLIS), a Department of Defense (DoD) University-Affiliated Research Center Laboratories (UARC).
As a Project Manager, you will work with Principal Investigators, ARLIS administrative support teams and University business partners to manage scope, schedule and budget.
In this role you will plan and direct all administrative tasks to expense resources responsibly, maintain project scope and schedule, follow University and federal rules and regulations, and remove administrative burden.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree.
Experience:
- 2 years of experience managing crossfunctional projects using basic project management principles.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to coordinate multiple assignments and review work products for completeness, quality and adherence to sponsor requirements.
- Ability to work with ambiguity.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferences:
Preferences:
- Master's Degree
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Experience using project scheduling software
- Experience using MS Excel
- Experience supporting projects with a budget of
- Federal project management experience
- Experience working in a research and/or academia environment
- Active security clearance.
