Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Production Scheduler.

As a Production Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning the production schedule to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing operations.

This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of supply chain management, and the ability to forecast demand accurately.


Duties:

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, and production capacity
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including sales, operations, and procurement to gather information for production planning
• Analyze customer orders, and inventory data to determine production requirements
• Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to generate purchase orders and track material availability
• Optimize production processes by implementing lean manufacturing principles
• Communicate production schedules to the manufacturing team and provide updates as needed
• Identify potential bottlenecks or issues in the production process and propose solutions
• Continuously monitor and evaluate production performance metrics to identify areas for improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, business administration, or a related field preferred
• Proven experience as a Production Scheduler or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of demand planning, supply chain management, and production planning principles
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts and techniques
• Proficiency in using MRP systems for inventory control and production scheduling
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams effectively
• Detailoriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
