    Description
    We're a family-owned steel fabricator based just outside of York, NE. We specialize in substation and transmission line projects. We are a team and we celebrate our team.     We work hard, hard work and dedication are values that run deep (but, we are also off every Friday at 3:30 because, you know, we also like to have fun)PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTIONIndividual will be mainly responsible for safe operation of material handling equipment such as forklift and Mi-Jack and load, unload and sort items according to destination.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESTransport heavy material using a forklift both inside and outside of buildings.
    Determine production requirements by obtaining work orders.
    Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
    Cycle count inventory as requested by supervisor.
    Sort items according to destination and verify all items match with the purchase order.
    Must be able to work overtime Load and unload trucks.
    Store and organize steel accordingly.
    Touch up and rework any material defectsAssemble parts per customer specificationsAll other duties and responsibilities that are assigned.


    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES Education:

    High school diploma or GED ExperienceForklift Operator Experience PreferredOther Qualifications and RequirementsAbility to successfully complete forklift trainingSafety glasses and safety shoes required at all times.

    On-the-job training.
    PHYSICAL DEMANDSStanding and/or walking 50%Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs. Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controlsAbility to view computer monitorFrequent alpha/numeric keyboardingEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled
