_region.__ Occasional in - office required._**The HS/PRS Caseworker (Level 1) is responsible for conducting well-being and follow-up contact with children and their sponsors. The HSPRS Caseworker (Level 1) will provide support to children and their sponsors through local social services and resources. Makes referrals internally for assessed need for increased supports and services. The HSPRS Caseworker (Level 1) will report to the HSPRS Regional Supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

PRS Case workers Level 1 must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
1 year experience working with children.
At least 21 years of age.
Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license, in good standing.
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Prior experience with ORR HS/PRS preferred.
PRS Case Workers should be knowledgeable about family preservation, kinship care, and/or general child welfare.
Understanding and awareness of child welfare best practices, trauma informed care systems, and working within homes and communities.
Seek consultation and supervision as needed to ensure safety and efficient delivery of services.
Ability to present a reassuring and positive demeanor to individuals, their families, staff, supportive services personnel, and the general public.
Ability to remain calm and maintain selfcontrol during difficult circumstances and emergencies. Ability to respond in a professional manner in all situations.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively via oral and written means.
Must possess strong computer skills in MS Office, including Excel, Word, Teams.
