Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide essential support to healthcare professionals in a hospital setting. Your primary responsibilities will include medication administration, medical administrative support, and patient care.


Duties:

• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
• Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing insurance information
• Assist with patient intake, including taking vital signs and recording patient history
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
• Assist healthcare professionals during examinations and procedures
• Provide basic life support in emergency situations
• Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Ensure patient comfort and provide exceptional patient service

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is required
• Proficiency in medication administration techniques
• Familiarity with inhale techniques for respiratory treatments is a plus
• Basic life support certification is preferred
