Job Description:


Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manger Process Manufacturing 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Advanced Composites Center organization. This leadership role is located in El Segundo, CA.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Providing direction and coaching to technicians and front line managers in the Advanced Composites Center
  • Ensures team members receive the required training and prepares the daily work plans in support of overall program objectives.
  • Encourages and provides direction for career development of employees, including educational options for highly motivated employees.
  • Provides leadership/direction to ensure all affordability initiatives and opportunities for process improvements are systematically identified, pursued, and supported.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5 years of experience in an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment OR High School Diploma/GED AND 9 years of experience in an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment
  • Must have 2 years of prior management/leadership experience.
  • Must have the ability to obtain DoD Secret security clearance (US Citizenship required) as well as the ability to obtain and maintain Program Special Access
  • Composite Process and Manufacturing build experience required

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and present presentations with various levels of leadership

Salary Range:
$114,100 - $171,100

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
