    Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

    Assuring efficiency and customer satisfaction, including scheduling of activities, daily monitoring of operations, and measuring the outcome of services.
    Developing and maintaining a system to ensure that beneficiary complaints and inquiries are appropriately received and resolved.
    Monitoring patient satisfaction surveys, reporting areas of concern, and recommending improvement strategies.
    Developing, analyzing, advising on, or improving the effectiveness of work methods and procedures.
    Interpreting and implementing policies and procedures pertaining to transportation among the multiple programs.

    Reviewing administrative audits and investigative reports to recommend appropriate changes or corrective action required at the level to ensure compliance.

    Performing extensive and in-depth reviews on a routine basis of transportation activities, vehicle and equipment inventory, and maintenance records to ensure effective function of beneficiary transportation programs.

    Preparing graphs and charts that present clear, concise, and effective analytical results of evaluations and studies performed.

    Managing transportation programs and services in multiple programs related to the transportation systems for metropolitan as well as rural/remote beneficiaries eligible for travel.

    Utilizing the knowledge and demonstrating the skills to function as the beneficiary/patient transportation expert.

    Reviewing patient transport data, vehicle operations, mileage and maintenance, outpatient data relative to no-show rates, cancellation rates, patient waiting times, and appointment delays.

    Utilizing knowledge of state and federal laws, regulations, and policies, pertinent to the operation of a passenger/patient transportation program.

    Utilizing knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements regarding ADA vehicles and all applicable statutes, regulations, and policies regarding transporting disabled beneficiaries.

    Identifying resources (funding, equipment, facilities) required to support varied level of program operations, including community, regional, state, and other federal transportation programs, and resources.

    Conducting special cost benefits analyses and evaluations of various modes of beneficiary transportation, including special mode, ambulance, contracted, donated/collaborative, etc.

    Performing the administrative and personnel management functions relative to staff supervised.

    Performing detailed analysis of workflow and work methods which is used to support recommendations, for example, utilizing various software programs to capture and analyze data for workload.

    Monitoring budget allocation and execution to ensure that operating program objectives are met.

    Coordinating the preparation and submission of recurring weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance improvement reports, management briefings, summaries, and a wide variety of non-recurring reports.

    Performs other related duties as assigned.


    Work Schedule:
    Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
