Spectrum has a per diem/PRN opportunity for a
Medical Appointment Clerk
at the Dumfries Health Center
in Dumfries, Virginia. **We provide out-patient clinic services for enlisted and retired military personnel in association with Ft. Belvoir Community Hospital. This position provides coding duties in support of patient care and treatment.


Position Duties Include:


  • Manages daytoday operations of the clinic's Appointment Center.
  • Assists in building templates and schedules. Enters provider schedules into CHCS appointing system per Lead Physician's approval.
  • Assist with other duties as needed and assigned.

Qualifications include:


  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • One to three years related experience.
  • Must be proficient in patient relations, appointment scheduling and professional phone techniques.
  • Have knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in the use of basic word processing, data entry, and automated records.
