    Description
    The Preston Automotive Group is looking for a **Parts Manager** to join their team. If you have previous experience in parts management, a strong drive to succeed, and the ability to uphold the company's core values, this might be the perfect opportunity for you. **RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Forecasts and aims to achieve goals and objectives for the department. - Recruits, trains, motivates, guides, and evaluates the performance of parts department staff. - Prepares and manages an annual budget for the parts department. - Maintains a well-balanced inventory that meets the needs of various departments and customer segments. - Establishes pricing strategies to ensure profitability and customer loyalty. - Oversees parts inventory levels for optimal turnover. - Manages inventory to minimize obsolescence. - Ensures proper tagging of all parts for full credit recovery. - Supervises stock ordering procedures. - Sets policies for special parts orders and aligns them with management expectations. - Analyzes sales, expenses, and inventory to meet profit targets. - Implements a wholesale parts program to drive profits. - Ensures excellent service standards for both internal and external customers. - Collaborates with the service manager to facilitate timely part deliveries. - Attends managerial meetings to stay informed and contribute to decision-making. - Evaluates department operations and layout for optimal efficiency. - Provides technical support to parts department staff. - Monitors employees' payroll records. - Manages paperwork flow, shipping, and receiving processes. - Reviews daily reports and sales productivity metrics. - Develops strategies for lost sales tracking and customer engagement. - Drives outside parts and counter sales efforts, including telemarketing initiatives. - Creates and executes sales promotions and leverages manufacturers' co-op advertising. - Establishes, enforces, and monitors customer service guidelines. - Resolves customer complaints promptly and in line with company policies. - Ensures accurate accounting of dealership purchases before payment. - Supports collection of overdue accounts. - Stays compliant with relevant regulations affecting parts sales. - Presents a professional image. - Performs other assigned duties. **BENEFITS**: - Competitive income potential. - Family-owned company with a supportive leadership team that values internal growth. - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage. - 401(k) retirement plan with employer match. - Life insurance benefits. - Employee discounts. - Generous paid time off. - Employee referral program. - Paid training and vacations.
