Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Security Engineer to join our team in the Aberdeen, MD area. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Information Systems Security Developer [SP-SYS-001] (DCWF) positions are responsible for designs, develops, tests, and evaluates information system security throughout the systems development life cycle.
Incumbents perform the analysis of design constraints, analyze trade-offs and detailed system and security design, and consider life cycle support.
Assess the effectiveness of cybersecurity measures utilized by system(s).
Assess threats to and vulnerabilities of computer system(s) to develop a security risk profile.
Builds, tests, and modifies product prototypes using working models or theoretical models.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other Technical discipline with an Information Security or Cyber Security Concentration.
5+ years of relevant test engineering experience within the last 8 years
IAT Level II certification.

Security Clearance Requirements:

Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

Physical Requirements:

The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
