    Description

    Home Training Registered Nurse

    Innovative Renal Care (IRC) is seeking a dedicated registered nurse who aims to empower patients through education and support. Utilizing your problem-solving skills, you will enable patients to manage their dialysis treatments at home, offering them greater control over their lifestyle with the support of your team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Educate patients on the benefits of home dialysis for comfort and independence
    • Train patients on peritoneal or home hemodialysis
    • Collaborate with Nephrologists to develop tailored treatment plans
    • Conduct educational workshops to stay updated on latest advancements
    • Monitor patients' conditions and lab results for safety and success
    • Participate in on-call rotations to assist patients during off-hours

    Requirements:

    • Registered Nurse with valid state licensure
    • Minimum 12 months nursing experience
    • An additional 3 months specific modality experience
    • Valid Driver's License
    • Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Compassion for improving patients' quality of life

    Education

    Preferred
    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing
    • Associate's degree or higher in Nursing

    Licenses & Certifications

    Required
    • Registered Nurse license
