Basic Function:

Entry level position that is expected to become a stock clerk II within 12 months. Responsible for maintaining inventory storage and retrieval in the component warehouse. Operations, Planning, Customer Service, Purchasing, Inventory Control, Finance and Quality organizations. S/He is expected to take direction from asst.

supervisor and to provide timely delivery of materials to operations and manage inventory storage with a high degree of accuracy.


Responsibilities:


  • Ensures component materials marked with RR# at dock prior to storing in rack locations.
  • Maintains a neat, clean, organized work area.
  • Maintains accurate inventory of component storage locations with history of pulls, put-aways by carton count, date and receiving report number, issues to Operations and Returns from Operations.
  • Delivers components to designated location at operations request.
  • Utilize PMMR document to record issues and returns to stock.
  • Maintains daily safety checklist for lift equipment.
  • Pull and prep materials for shipment (PKs) or return to customer.
  • Identify inactive or excess stock for return to customer.
  • Maintains PR locations for inventory accuracy.

Qualifications:


  • No warehouse experience required.
  • Must read / write English.
  • Must work well with addition/subtraction/multiplication and division.
  • Must be capable of obtaining a license for forklift and deep reach lift trucks.
  • Able to perform physical inventory of components.

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary


Pay:
$ $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
