    Position Summary

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Irrigation Division Manager to join our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in irrigation system design, installation, and management, with a proven track record of success in the commercial landscaping industry. As the Commercial Irrigation Division Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our irrigation division, including project management, team leadership, client relations, and business development.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote irrigation services and generate qualified leads, collaborating with the account management team to identify target markets and potential clients.
    • Oversee all aspects of sales and business development activities, focusing on lead generation and client acquisition, while analyzing sales metrics and tracking progress towards targets.
    • Prepare accurate and competitive proposals and bids for irrigation system projects, managing pre-client communications and addressing inquiries or concerns.
    • Coordinate with project managers and installation crews to ensure timely and efficient execution of irrigation projects, conducting site visits and inspections as needed.
    • Foster relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals, while staying updated on industry trends and advancements in irrigation technology.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, providing leadership and guidance to the irrigation team, including training and professional development opportunities.
    • Collaborate with other departments within the company to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency, participating in networking events and industry conferences to promote the company's services and expand the client base.
    • Stay informed about local regulations and permits related to irrigation system installation and maintenance, assisting with budget planning and forecasting for the irrigation division, and implementing quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Previous experience in irrigation system design, installation, and maintenance, with strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in the irrigation industry, with knowledge of irrigation system components and design software.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, proficiency in MS Office suite and relevant software applications, and understanding of local building codes and regulations.
    • Commitment to safety and adherence to industry best practices, with a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
