Description

The Rigid Endoscope Repair and Product Development Manager is responsible for executing the daily activities of the Rigid Endoscope service environment, including the service on new orders as well as the re-service of items that have failed in the field.

In addition, the Rigid Endoscope Repair and Product Development Manager will be responsible for developing new repairs for all endoscope types, documenting the repair work instructions, and training employees on new repairs.

This position will report to the
Director of Operations, Endoscope and Surgical Repair.


Job Duties

  • Perform the repair of Rigid Endoscopes in accordance with company and OEM procedures and work instructions.
  • Assign work to the Rigid Endoscope Technicians
  • Train the new Technicians in all aspects of their jobs.
  • Adherence to established manufacturing and material control policies and procedures in compliance with ISO quality standards.
  • Assist in the modification of detailed work instructions for the manufacturing, assembly, and test of rigid endoscope practices.
  • Assist in the diagnosis and service of repaired rigid endoscopes that have failed in the field.
  • Comply with ISO quality standards including capturing assigned data for analysis and reporting to the customer and suppliers.
  • Assist other areas of the service operations on and as needed basis.
  • Represent the Company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all respects.
  • Evaluates systems and products by designing and conducting research programs.
  • Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods, testing properties.
  • Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for repairing, assembling, and installing components.
  • Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished
- products and system capabilities.

  • Properly document all repairs per ISO13485 standards.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of six years of related experience
  • Attention to Detail, Thoroughness, Organization, Hand-Eye Coordination
  • Experience with hand tools a must
  • Basic computer skills and ability to read and understand schematics
  • Inventory management experience a plus
  • ESD training a plus
  • Experience in ISO certification(s) a plus
