    Description

    JOBSUMMARY
    Ensure operations are carried out in a manner that safety isevident in everything we do.
    Responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of dry ice byassuring qualified drivers and equipment are available to implement the dailyschedule

    Hires Drivers to ensure regulatory compliance with all FDA, DOT, and otherGovernment requirements, as well as compliance with all Company policies and procedures.

    Completes all training required to fulfill the position of distributionmanager.
    Understand the distribution managers' role and function in implementing allcompany policies and procedures.
    Monitor training needs of employees and assure that the training is deliveredon-time.
    Responsible for administering and/or verifying that the employee hassuccessfully completed the Qualification related to any specific trainingrequirement.
    Ensures investigation of any vehicle accident or employee injury andinitiation of appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

    Ensures 3rd party maintenance providers/vendors are maintaining equipment andcontrolling costs by scheduling preventative maintenance to ensure maximumutilization, maximum life expectancy and safe operation.

    Works with carriers or brokers, as necessary, to ensure safe, timely, andefficient delivery of our products.

    Works with customers, sales, and service to ensure safe and efficient accessto customers and to support all sales activities related to distribution.

    Provides Scheduling Center with all necessary information needed to compilean efficient schedule
    Must maintain detailed records of service, inspection, and vehicle reports
    Utilize and maintain all computer based tools.
    Ensure maintenance and utilization of On-board Computers and Drive Cams.
    On-call after normal working hours, due to the 24-hour distribution network

    EssentialFunctions
    Essential Function
    Promote a "zero" vehicle accident/injury frequency rate, Conduct monthly safetymeetings
    Ensure total compliance with all safety regulations andguidelines both on company property and off-site while performing work
    Ensurethat all operations are performed with regard to the safety and health of allpersonnel

    Maintainand/or supervise the maintenance of all records of daily operation withregard to employee information, DOT and FDA regulations, service reports,vehicle maintenance and inspection reports, driver logs and hours to meetcompany, state and federal regulations for safety and documentation.

    Takes responsibility to ensure that location meets or exceeds operationalgoals and objectives
    Monitors and insures that the location budget is not exceeded

    Decisionsinvolve translating the Company goals and objectives into unit objectives,defined work assignments and projects; conducting and implementing actions;and short-term planning.

    Responsible for the hiring, staffing and training of quality,safe personnel for receiving and shipping products

    Knowledge of on board computers and drive cams helpful
    Thorough knowledge of all FDA, DOT, and cGMP rules andregulations
