    Job Purpose

    The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting the organization with the implementation of Open Health Care Clinic's advertising, marketing, and communications programs in order to build brand awareness and ensure clear internal and external communications.

    Essential Job Functions including, but not limited to:

    1. Satisfies Core Competencies:

    · Accepts responsibility for ensuring that performance meets the standards of the professional, ethical and relevant legislated requirements

    · Knowledgeable of Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) standards of care and requirements

    2. Internal Marketing and Communications

    · Maintains all internal communication systems and organization content

    · Design internal employee, service and organization content

    · Design online and print advertising including rack cards, social media posts, handouts and other marketing collateral within brand guidelines.

    · Works within internal system to prioritize projects and communicate milestones, and deliverables.

    3. External Marketing and Communications

    · Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice

    · Create and coordinate service reports, annual report, press release, event, or email campaigns

    · Supports and assists with community events and sponsorships

    Required Education:

    · Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communication, public relations or advertising required

    · Minimum two years' experience in related work

    Skills, Licensure and Knowledge Requirements:

    · Active LA Driver's License required.

    · Ability to pass an auto insurance carrier review required.

    · Experience using Adobe Suite, Canva, Squarespace, Mailchimp and CRM such as Neon One.

    · Proficiency in Microsoft Office

    · Firm grasp of available tools and platforms in the social media space

    · An effective communicator, both written and oral

    · Proven project management experience

    · Self-motivated, good organization skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.

    · While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach

    · Specific vision abilities required include close vision requirements due to computer work

    · Light to moderate lifting is required

    Travel or Special Requirements:

    Driving during the workday as well as local or out of state travel may be required to perform job duties.
