***Oversee day-to-day operations of the soon-to-be-thriving-and-growing Austin Water Resources team and support client satisfaction and achieving target profit (via multiplier/utilization). Help to provide an environment allowing for employee satisfaction and promote innovative thinking. Assist execution of the company's key strategies.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide leadership with grit and character by being a good communicator, having interest in learning, be inspiring, a visionary, a team builder, live our Purpose, help achieving our Vision, allow others to shine, taking responsibility, leading by example, and being dependable, respectful, passionate, and an active listener.
  • Perform Project Manager duties for assigned projects.
  • Perform Project Engineer duties as required.
  • Provide QC roles as required in areas of competency.
  • Provide technical advice and assistance as needed to office staff or across offices as needed.
  • Provide training/mentoring to junior staff as needed.
  • Facilitate weekly meetings with staff to discuss project priorities, resolve issues, and disseminate company information.
  • Update monthly workload and revenue projections, communicate with the Director, and execute necessary initiatives to resolve challenges.
  • Play a key role in generating leads, opportunities, and revenue in Central Texas and for the Water Resources Group.
  • Support and regularly communicate with the Director.
  • Support the Communities and/or R&D groups as required.
  • Assist the Service Director in ensuring quality assurance.
  • Assume other duties as directed by the Service Group Lead/Service Director.
  • Support and maintain the morale, welfare, professional development, training, and worklife balance of all assigned staff utilizing the Company's Guiding Principles.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, practices, and rules.
  • Serve as an example of proper conduct per Company Guiding Principles.
  • Live our Purpose and help achieve our Vision.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises office staff and is responsible for overseeing their performance.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
  • Registered Professional Engineer required.
  • Relevant design experience.
  • Leadership and team management experience preferred but not required.
  • Project management experience preferred but not required.
  • Relevant technology/software experience.
  • Proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
