The Koch Associate Program (KAP) is a career accelerator for early to mid-career professionals with a drive to tackle our country's most pressing
challenges
in more effective, principled ways.
KAP equips associates with the tools, mindsets, and community to succeed as social entrepreneurs—individuals excited to find new and better ways to break barriers and eliminate injustice.
Associates spend one day each week engaging in experiential learning with Stand Together Fellowships and work at one of our many partner organizations the rest of the week.

Reimagining US Grand Strategy Program

The successful applicant will support the Reimagining US Grand Strategy Program in its efforts to strengthen US foreign policy by testing assumptions, reassessing conventional wisdom, and exploring innovative approaches to international engagement.
Responsibilities of the Strategy Program's Koch Associate include:Conduct research to help draft the Program's publications and support its activities.
Draft correspondence and take notes at the Program's meetings, and public and private events.
Provide logistical and operational support for the Program's events and activities.
Support media outreach to promote the Program's publications and events.
Manage the Program's contacts and support institutional memory.
Support the development of the Program, as needed, by taking part in internal discussions and by sharing innovative ideas.
Qualifications
A graduate student or a recent graduate from any field, with a strong interest in US foreign policy.
GPA of 3.0 (out of 4.0) scale, or equivalent from a non-U.S. institution preferred.
Must demonstrate a commitment to the core mission of the Stimson Center, and an interest in and knowledge of a range of core topics related to the Strategy Program's themes and priorities.
Must possess excellent writing and editing skills.Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
