Job Overview:


Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:


  • Lead the sale of proprietary equipment and CDModules into the global marketplace.
  • Unburden Technology Managers from details of proprietary equipment fabrications and supply.
  • Assist with managing strategy for all equipment with guidance of Technology Managers, mechanical leads and procurement.
  • Develop all commercial proposals for proprietary equipment and CDModule initial loads.
  • Work with procurement to place orders and track progress.
  • Manage equipment and CDModule escalation and pricing formula best practices.
  • Lead vendor meetings together with Technology Leads and Supply Chain resources.
  • Continually monitor project/proposal progress to ensure milestones are met within the specific deadlines.
  • Ensure that the Client requirements and request are clearly defined and communicated to the project team.
  • Communicate project status to all team members.
  • Perform other activities in all areas of proposal and project management as needed.
  • Liaise with vendors to grow supply chain network and establish strategic agreements.
  • Work with Engineering Leads and TM to identify new proprietary equipment offerings.
  • Resolve commercial issues with clients and vendors.
  • Review and negotiate various Material Supply Agreements (MSA), Catalyst Supply Agreements (CSA) and Vendor Network Agreements (VNA).
  • Interface with Aftermarket Parts (AMP) team to service internal and external spare part requests.
  • Liaise with Chevron Lummus Global (CLG) to support joint venture initiatives and project/proposal execution.
  • Participate in development of proprietary equipment and catalyst estimates.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas, Chemical or Petrochemical industries, preferably in sales of catalyst and/or proprietary equipment, procurement, category management, similar field.
  • Extensive experience in catalyst manufacturing, equipment fabrication or industrial construction
  • Robust knowledge of financial reporting, project controls and commercial management.
  • Experience working in technology licensing or as a partner to technology licensing companies.
  • Minimum 5 years managing project/proposal execution, coordinating project teams, or acting as a Commercial Lead.
  • Seasoned negotiator with ability to identify key issues and risks of each proposal.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Must be a selfstarter and be able to initiate and guide the work of others.
  • Ability to balance multiple and sometimes competing priorities within tight timelines.
  • Strong ability to analyze complex issues and determine the best solution or course of action to meet client needs.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
