Westgate Vacation Villas & Town Center Resort boasts more than 3,000 accommodations and offers a great opportunity to meet and share stories with guests who arrive from around the world to enjoy Central Florida's world-famous theme parks and attractions. Enjoy our world-class resort's surroundings and excitement, such as 14 heated outdoor pools, 14 hot tubs, and the state-of-the-art Shipwreck Island Water Park.
Service and maintain high-, medium-, and low-pressure steam appliances and equipment by identifying and troubleshooting common problems and stresses, planned maintenance, and maintenance scheduling.
As an Engineering Appliance Technician, you will:
- Service and maintain appliances that include
- Domestic refrigerators, commercial walking coolers
- Frozen food and ice makers storage freezers
- Steamers and convection ovens; gas and electric
- Gasfired boilers and heaters
- Electric air extractors
- Mixers and blenders (Commercial)
- Select and use cylinders and torches
- Service and maintain A/C and refrigeration systems with 1/4 ton to 15 tons
- Connect and operate pressure regulators correctly
- Develop a maintenance program that includes daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly activities on each piece of equipment assigned by the supervisor
- Understand basic electronic components, both digital and analog
- Understand wiring diagrams
- Be able to braze/solder copper tubing connections properly and safely

Requirements:
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or oneyear related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must possess a vast knowledge of laundry equipment, food and beverage equipment, electrical, and plumbing
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of team members and guests in an attentive and serviceoriented manner
- Must be at least 18 and have a valid driver's license to drive company golf carts
