- Providing exceptional senior-level HR support and guidance to our clients (often the CEO, COO, or Founder). We deliver in all areas of the employee life cycle, acting as an extension of their in-house team to help with onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, leave management, and employee exiting.
- Each client engagement includes and HR assessment of their HR function to craft the HR Roadmap. This review covers every area of the employee lifecycle, from how our clients attract talent, hire, onboard, develop and exit employees. To be considered, you must have the experience, knowledge and capability to engage with senior leadership, complete the assessment and craft the roadmap, providing guidance to our clients on larger initiatives as well as handling the day-to-day.
- This role will handle day-to-day HR for our clients, from benefits/payroll management, leave management, new hire onboarding, and employee terminations or off-boarding.
- HR is complex, and our clients often have remote employees in various states, so you'll need to stay current on the latest practices to ensure compliance with various state and federal employment laws.
- HR projects may also include digging deeper into various HR challenges our clients face, and creating thought leadership that can be shared within the team and our clients.
- Supporting the growth of Hire Ventures and our internal team; participating in team meetings as well as collaborating with other members of the team in a virtual capacity. Telling the Hire Ventures story via LinkedIn and other social platforms to strengthen the Hire Ventures brand.
- Ideally, a Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or relevant and equivalent experience
- HR Certification and a dedication to the field.
- Must have 5+ years of progressive and relevant HR experience - small-growth company experience a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, be motivated, articulate and make sound decisions under the position guidelines - in a positive, results-driven and forward-thinking manner.
- Should have an active presence in the professional world, especially LinkedIn.
- Ability to communicate with a variety of people in a polite and professional manner, with a high attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Must be coachable, collaborative and have a growth mindset.

Since 2001, we have been providing fractional & project-based human resource services to help our clients find and keep talent in an ever-changing, complex world.
Our services are more ideal than ever for companies that may have human resource or recruiting needs but may not have full-time resources. Given the growth of our Fractional HR Offering, we are adding to our US Human Resource Consulting team.
The ideal person for this role will be a proven self-starter who is passionate and experienced in various areas of Human Resources, ideally someone who has worked in a dispersed growing company as either a solo HR leader or as part of a small HR team.
