We are seeking a Superintendent who is qualified and experienced in working on Public Works projects around the Southern California area.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress and resource allocation
- Alongside project team, manage daily activities of subcontractors, review construction schedules and submittals, and coordinate responses to subcontractors' inquiries via the Requests for Clarifications (RFC) and other related documents
- Assist in the creation of cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials and other project costs
- Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, other construction management to determine budget and timeline
- Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers
- Create schedules for workers and subcontractors
- Maintain a daily log for the job site's operations, reporting to management as necessary
- Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines
- Monitor project budget on a monthly basis to ensure that the budget accurately reflects the project status/ progress
- Along with assigned project engineers, review submittals from subcontractors to ensure specification and/or requirements are complied with prior to submittal.
- Assist the project scheduler to review and address any and all schedule impacts in accordance with the project specifications.
- Work with accounting department to monitor and approves payments for subcontractors, architects, engineers and vendors
- Plan, organize, and prepare reports to upper management with respect to the status and/or progress of assigned projects
- Perform other related duties as assigned & required by the project.
Qualifications (REQUIRED):
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Superintendent role
- Public works project delivery, specifically in Southern California
- Experience in DSA Projects
- Experience in Design-BidBuild & Design-Build project delivery
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Bluebeam, Microsoft Office
Qualifications (PREFERRED):
- Experience in DSA Projects
- Knowledge of Procore, Primavera and/or Microsoft Project
- Experience in LAUSD projects
NOTE:

Pay:
$105, $130,000.00 per year
