The Chair of Microbiology in the Department of Biology is seeking a(n)

Your Responsibilities

Our research group is interested in the molecular mechanisms of infection with Gram-negative bacteria in the human stomach and intestine. Therefore, we work with human pathogens of level 2 and conduct molecular and cell biology experiments with cell cultures in vitro. We use PCR techniques, DNA cloning, lentiviral vectors, eukaryotic cell culture, Western blot, protein purification, and flow cytometry.

Your Profile

Required Qualifications:

Skills in handling bacteria, viruses, and cell cultures, flow cytometry (FACS); proficiency in molecular and genetic techniques, especially microscopic methods
