About us:

Supported communication aims to improve the communication possibilities for non-speaking or limited speaking individuals. As a supplement or alternative to spoken language, technical aids with speech output can be used. This allows individuals with congenital communication barriers (such as Down syndrome, autism, etc.) or acquired impairments (ALS, strokes, etc.) to open up new ways of communication, enabling a largely self-determined life.

Since 1991, Prentke Romich GmbH has been providing technical aids for supported communication nationwide and is one of the largest providers of these products in Germany.

Your future responsibilities will include:

Professional and disciplinary management of the team

  • Recruitment and selection of personnel in consultation with management and human resources
  • Training and development of new colleagues
  • Deployment, resource and vacation planning within the team
  • Prioritization and delegation of tasks and resources
  • Resolution of problems and conflicts within the team

Management of daily operations

  • Operational management of telephone, written and personal customer contacts
  • Handling of complex customer inquiries to ensure professional qualifications and act as a contact person for challenging cases
  • Ensuring smooth processes between departments and continuous optimization of processes
