- Perform complex accounting reconciliations and financial statement reviews, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper accounting treatment for new business initiatives, contracts, and transactions.
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
- Research and stay up-to-date on accounting standards and best practices, ensuring compliance and proposing process improvements
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and software, optimizing efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit inquiries
- Assist in the development and maintenance of internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies
- 2-3 years of experience in technical accounting, preferably in a corporate environment and/or Public Accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software- analyzing issues from the perspective of the accounting profession and originating viable approaches to address problems and improve systems; interpret, applying, and explaining policies, procedures, laws, codes and regulations
- Ability to review financial records, compile data, make computations and prepare data summaries; maintain accounting systems; contribute effectively to the accomplishment of team or work unit goals, objectives and activities' communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing' maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work; interpret and input data efficiently and accurately
