We have just moved into beautiful new offices in Arsenal Yards in Watertown, MA.In our new home we now have our office space, research labs, and GMP manufacturing suite all in one place.
We are seeking an experiencedScientist, CMC Radiochemistry to join Mariana's
CMC organization, advancing personalized medicine and radiopharmaceuticals.
Illustrative Breadth of Responsibilities:
- Implement and perform new and/or routine radiochemistry procedures and protocols under the direction of the CMC team
- Investigate, analyze, and reach preliminary scientific conclusions related to research planning
- Ensure data results are compiled, analyzed, and presented properly
- Analyze, develop, interpret, and maintain clear documentation of scientific results
- Prepare scientific reports for internal reporting purposes
- Perform independent research and laboratory techniques and participate in experimental research planning
- Opportunity to engage in early drug product formulation feasibility process development and analytical methodologies
- Opportunity to learn radiolabeling/ coordination chemistry process, analytical development and troubleshooting with a broad range of radioisotopes, including but not limited to: Lu177, Ac225, Zr89, Cu64, In111, Ga68 and Pb21
- Participate in the development and process validation of radiopharmaceutical production procedures for use in preclinical and clinical studies
- Participate and support CMC process and analytical development, method validation, and reporting activities
- Support team communications in disseminating the results, which may come in the form of writing reports, presenting at internal meetings
- Contribute to the organization, safety, and maintenance of the laboratory
Requirements/Skills:
- A BS degree in Chemistry, Radiochemistry, or related discipline with +2 years of Biotech, Pharmaceutical, and/or PET industry experience in relevant biologics and peptides metal chelates chemistry development. Alternatively, a M.S. or Ph.
- Knowledge of GMP is a plus
- Radiopharmaceutical drug substance and drug product development experience and quality control is a plus
- Analytical chemistry and knowledgeable in HPLC separation science
- Working with radiopharmaceuticals, with a good understanding of the radiation safety regulations and guidelines, is preferred
- Proven ability to adhere to good documentation standards and maintain detailed records of all work performed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
