- Your responsibilities and tasks:
As part of the team at GEA Heating & Refrigeration Technologies, you will be contributing to the global advancement of industrial refrigeration, heating, and sustainable engineering solutions across various sectors including food, beverage, dairy, and oil & gas.
With a focus on reliability, efficiency, sustainability, and long-term cost-effectiveness, our technologies are designed to meet the evolving needs of our diverse clientele.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform all necessary operations in the manufacturing of standard compressor packages, adhering to required specifications and budgets.
- Execute mechanical assembly tasks related to compressor packages, excluding welding operations.
- Conduct testing as per drawing instructions and specific requirements.
- Prepare and paint standard products, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Assemble control panels and mount them, including installation of wire harnesses.
- Perform thorough checkouts of control panels to ensure functionality.
- Fulfill any other duties as assigned by the management.
- Offer flexibility in working shifts, with options available for both first and second shifts.
Your profile and qualifications:
Levels:
- Level 1: 02 years of experience.
- Level 2: 35 years of experience.
- Level 3 or 4: 57 years of experience.
Minimum Skills:
- Proficiency as an effective team player within a Lean Six Sigma environment.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to interpret simple fabrication or assembly drawings.
- Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols.
Physical Requirements:
- Sit, stand, bend, reach, walk for long periods of time on concrete surface.
- Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs. frequently.
- Sufficient hand, arm and finger dexterity to operate tools and/or machinery.
- May be required to work extended hours which may include weekends and holidays.
- Regularly exposed to manufacturing areas that may require personal protective equipment.
- Regularly exposed to a manufacturing work environment that is hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet and/or noisy.
