The Opportunity
As part of a highly collaborative and cross-functional team, you will be responsible for developing and executing antibody discovery screening, engineering libraries using phage and mammalian-display techniques, and assisting in the development of highly efficient antibody selection workflows.
Responsibilities
- Construct and select antibodies from iBio's MLderived antibody libraries using a combination of phage and mammalian display techniques.
- Develop and execute highthroughput assays for antibody screening utilizing flow cytometry and SPRbased systems.
- Effectively present and communicate concepts and results, both orally and in writing, to the team.
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex technical problems.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Requirements:
- PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemical Engineering, Immunology or related life science field and 1+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience is required. OR
- MS/MA in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemical Engineering, Immunology or related life science field and 3+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience is required. OR
- BS/BA in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemical Engineering, Immunology or related life science field and 5+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience is required.
Preferred skills
- Proven experience with phage and/or mammalian display. Application to antibody selection.
- Significant experience with biophysical assays (SPR, ELISA), as well as cell sorting, and highthroughput screening.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Some familiarity with automation or desire to integrate automation to streamline processes.
California Base Salary Range
The expected annual base salary for this position ranges from $72,250.00 to $115,000.00, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
The base salary range reflects the target range for this position, but individual pay will be determined by various factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, job-related skills, relevant education attained, work location, and organizational needs.
This range may be modified in the future. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
