My client, a nationally operating wholesale company, is currently seeking a General Manager\* - with a focus on Sales & Operations - in Los Altos, CA.

We are looking for an experienced leader who has previous experience in the wholesale/retail industry and has managed areas such as sales, business development, and operations.

This is a newly created position with high responsibility and extensive room for development. Therefore, the mentioned criteria are of utmost importance.

Responsibilities

This position has full responsibility for a business unit that generates more than 95% of the company's total revenue.


The task is to develop new strategies and establish new business areas, as well as set and achieve corresponding performance and growth goals.

In addition, individual leadership of employees, utilizing their potential effectively, and shaping efficient teams are crucial.

The goal is to drive ambitious and sustainable growth and establish it in the long term.

Qualifications


We are looking for someone with several years of experience in management positions, especially in areas such as sales, operations, and business development.

It is essential that this experience was gained in the retail and/or wholesale industry - preferably with a focus on the pharmaceutical industry.

We also require an experienced leader who practices an individual, modern leadership approach and enjoys working in a team.


Skills such as strong strategic and analytical thinking, a high degree of flexibility and agility, and quick comprehension complete the profile.

Additionally, qualities such as authenticity, decisiveness, and transparent communication are essential.
