    Marketing & Events Specialist.

    Wealth Enhancement Group is a fast-growing, national wealth management firm dedicated to simplifying our clients' financial lives.

    The Event Marketing Specialist plays a key role in our firm's growth by planning and executing events across the country.

    Supporting our Marketing and Partner Programs teams, they will be responsible for the ideation, plan development and execution of educational seminars, tradeshows, conferences, as well as networking and hospitality events.

    The ideal candidate for this role should have superior organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, and be a self-starting driver. They should be comfortable working independently, but with a highly collaborative approach and ability work well in matrixed teams. This role can be performed remotely.

    The salary target for this role is $65,000 - $75,000. This position is eligible for an annual bonus.

    We select our initial compensation target using national compensation survey data.

    When we make an offer, we then factor in things like tenure, performance, and geographic location to come up with the most accurate numbers.

    Primary Job Functions
    Event planning and execution
    Manage all aspects of event planning for educational seminars, tradeshows, conferences, networking and hospitality events.
    Plan and manage our events' calendar.
    Research and secure venues, approve menus, develop seating plans.
    Communication with speakers, advisor teams, and event staff.
    Prepare and ship event materials such as nametags, collateral, and technology.

    Point person at events, ensure smooth operation with the venue, in addition to onsite event staffing, greet attendees, managing speakers and wrap up.

    Coordinate promotional schedule to drive event attendance on time and on budget
    Collaborate and drive strong relationships with key contributors.
    Coordinate various marketing tactics including direct mail, email, radio, and social media to drive event attendance.
    Comprehensive project management including the use of Wrike, our project management and collaboration software.
    Create new, or update existing, processes, documentation, timelines and to-do lists related to event responsibilities.
    Proofing, routing and version control of marketing materials.
    Maintain event budgets and process invoices.

    Prepare regular reporting on event results
    Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of specific events and programs.
    Prepare regular and proactive status updates.
    Manage event details in Salesforce to ensure proper results tracking.
    Coordinate data entry with Operations team post-event.
    Keep open lines of communication with internal sales team to capture feedback.

    Research, recommend and implement event activities as needed to deliver on "best in class" standards and to further improve efficiencies.

    Travel Requirement of 25%

    Education/Qualifications
    Four-year degree in marketing or related field is strongly preferred
    3+ years of events, marketing, and/or project management experience
    Well-organized with excellent multi-tasking abilities with the ability to prioritize workflow and projects.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    Good problem-solving skills, willingness to dig into issues and present possible solutions.
    Innovative thinking and resourceful with a readiness to adapt to new processes and technologies.
    Ability to be flexible and to collaborate as part of a growing, cross-functional team.
    Operation of registration technology and A/V set-up
    Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
