    Software Product Manager

    Location: Remote, MUST live within 50 miles of Beaverton, OR

    Duration: 2 yr contract

    MUST be US Citizen for background security purposes

    **Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree (MBA) preferred**


    Top 4 Required Skills:

    1. Business education/certification in Product Mgmt (BS, MBA, etc.),

    2. Mid tear Software Product Mgmt exp. –managed their own product with exp performing ROI assessments

    AND those with average tenure in a single position for at least 2 years.***

    3. Software Product Manager experience for external customers

    4. Fluency in analytics – exp. with reporting metric definition.

    Position Overview

    The Product Manager is responsible for managing one of the company's digital products with a primary emphasis on product strategy and delivery of the roadmap. Specifically, the Product Manager develops each product's feature set and acceptance criteria in collaboration with business stakeholders, while balancing strategic differentiation (scope), executional feasibility (resources), and deadline management (time). The Product Manager is a critical leader driving product ideation of business needs, and roadmap tradeoffs with Client Services, Operations, Marketing, and/or Sales stakeholders. Aligned with stakeholders, the Product Manager collaborates with UX/UI design and software engineering on requirements definition, design specifications, user story prioritization, and go-to-market activities. This role may involve market research, competitor research, 3rd party platform research, and return on investment analysis with a focus on revenue opportunities, or cost of revenue reduction. The successful candidate must have a professional background in bringing digital products to market, while successfully managing outcomes, KPI's, and client relationships in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Knowledge of the settlement administration industry is a plus.

    Job Responsibilities


    • Work with industry thought leaders and clients to determine market demand for new products and product extensions.


    • Drive future product direction roadmap & strategy


    • Collaborate with business partners to define product roadmap


    • Closely interface with software development organization and business stakeholders in sales and marketing to ensure appropriate go-to-market plans are in place


    • Research alternative solutions including external vendor offerings that meet business requirements


    • Research markets, competitors, and merging trends (products & technologies)


    • Gauge usability of products and make constructive suggestions for change


    • Understand and document our buyer's process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when and why behind the decisions they make. Drive changes to our sales and marketing processes based on the learnings


    • Manage product(s) through all stages of the product cycle including:

    o Generating new product ideas

    o Establishing and documenting product requirements as Epics, Features, User Stories & Acceptance Criteria

    o Reviewing/prioritizing Features with business stakeholders

    o Reviewing/prioritizing User Stories with the product development team

    o Assist in planning overall software release schedule

    o Working with marketing and sales to prepare press releases and launch campaigns

    o Working with sales to ensure the appropriate go to market collateral, objections lists, and channel approaches are in place

    o Demonstrating and training staff and clients on new and upcoming features

    o Measuring the success of a new product feature

    Required Qualifications & Characteristics


    A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree (MBA) preferred.


    • The successful candidate will have 5 years' experience in the Software Technology & Development arena.


    3+ years of software product management experience with experience building and launching SaaS-based software solutions.


    • The position will require significant exposure to and collaboration with major clients, sales prospects, users and stakeholders.


    • The successful candidate will be a driven, accomplished software product manager with a track record of success conceptualizing, developing and bringing to market innovative software solutions and new feature enhancements to drive sales and entries into new markets.


    • Comfortable in high growth organizations.


    • A hands-on leader, the ideal candidate will possess experience suited to an entrepreneurial and collaborative growth-oriented environment.


    Fluency in analytics; Ability to demonstrate ROI of all new product initiatives.


    • Proven track record of successful collaboration with development, sales, marketing and finance.


    • Strategic mindset with a passion for product delivery and user experience.


    • A quick learner.


    Strong technical skills and knowledge of SaaS software and enterprise wide systems.


    • Experienced in agile and scrum development methodologies, and a committed partner to the product development team.


    • Ability to understand technical product feature set.

    Highly regarded qualifications, but not required:


    Usability and interaction design training or experience.


    • Knowledge of legal software & services landscape.
