- Experience working with the US government, especially in ISSO/ISSM roles.
- Security related certifications (e. g. CISSP, CAP, GSLC, GIAC, CSAP+, CISM)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical field with a minimum of 3-4 YOE
- Demonstrated experience deploying native applications in the AWS cloud using AppStream, Batch, Lambdas and other AWS services in consistent, repeatable, and documented ways.
- Demonstrated experience working with the full DevOps lifecycle (building applications, deploying applications, maintaining applications).
- Experience working with and meeting US Government security standards (NIST 800-53, DOD CC SRG, RMF) and working with related US DOD systems (eMASS)
- Ability to obtain and retain a US security clearance.

Insight Global is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer for an Aerospace Safety and Risk Analysis (ASRA) group, to help deliver state-of-the-art flight safety solutions through the cloud, and in particular to ensure it is done in a secure manner.
This is a hands-on role in which you will be expected to help build and integrate the clients tools with AWS cloud infrastructure, but we'd like someone with the experience and drive to help define and implement security and engineering practices broadly.
In addition to the technical work, you'll help collate and document how what the client has done meets the security requirements of our users.
