Forklift Operator
MH Masonry & Associates has an immediate need for experienced Forklift Operators. Although previous forklift experience is required; certification and training are available.
The forklift operator will have the following responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading material and equipment from trucks and trailers using telehandlers or forklift trucks to work areas or designated storage areas.
- Moving material and equipment from designated storage areas to work areas and scaffolding to efficiently supply materials to masons and laborers.
- Coordinating with Foreman and Lead personnel the production schedule to ensure the appropriate quantity of materials and equipment available to work areas.
- Cleaning work area and equipment regularly by removing empty pallets, wood, and plastic.
- Following all safety protocols& company standards and legal regulations to ensure a safe and positive work atmosphere.
- Maintaining forklift equipment by troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, recommending repairs, and performing routine pre and postinspections.
- Other duties as assigned.
