As Vanta's Senior Manager, Compensation, you'll be responsible for driving our execution around compensation for all Vanta'ns, and own our overall compensation strategy.
You'll work closely with our People Operations, People Business Partner, and Finance Teams to make sure that all Vanta'ns are compensated in accordance with our compensation strategy, and that the strategy and execution remain competitive with market trends.
This role will initially report to Vanta's Chief People and Legal Officer, and reporting/role in the organization may evolve thereafter.
What you'll do as a Senior Manager, Compensation at Vanta:Own our compensation philosophy and strategy across all levels and jobs at Vanta, focused on attracting and retaining the best talent in tech
Develop recommendations to change and improve our compensation programs as the business grows and the market changes
Execute on and improve our existing compensation processes, particularly our fine-grained job matching and compensation process, our regular compensation band refresh against market data, and our regular compensation update cycles for our team
Provide thought leadership and market data across all of the various aspects of core compensation, including new hire salary and equity, ongoing salary and equity compensation, and incentive plans
How to be successful in this role:
Minimum of 5 years of experience focused on compensation
Strong analytical skills and the ability to build, maintain, and simplify complex models in Excel/Google Sheets
Deep familiarity with core compensation data sources and how they map jobs, particularly Radford and Pave
Some experience with executive compensation and deep familiarity with current executive compensation methodologies and data sources
Great communication and stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trust with business leaders

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.
The salary or OTE range for this position is $171,000 - $201,000.
