Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team.

As a Behavior Technician, you will work with individuals with developmental disabilities to implement behavior management strategies and promote positive behavioral changes.

Duties:


  • Provide direct oneonone behavioral therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Implement behavior management techniques and strategies as directed by the behavior analyst
  • Collect and record data on individual progress and behaviors
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
  • Collaborate with the behavior analyst and other team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling medical documentation
  • Follow protocols and guidelines for applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy

Requirements:


  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
  • Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
  • Strong data collection skills
  • Ability to follow protocols and guidelines for behavioral therapy
  • Understanding of special education practices and principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
