Job DescriptionJob Description
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Transportation Driver, you will be responsible for providing essential support and assistance to individuals with disabilities throughout Northeast Ohio.
Key Responsibilities:
·
Transport adult individuals to and from predetermined destinations
·
Ensure the health and safety of all passengers assigned
·
Operate vehicle in a safe manner and in accordance with all Federal, State and Local laws
·
Maintain the cleanliness of assigned vehicle
·
Complete and report vehicle concerns resulting from pre and post vehicle inspections
·
Keep accurate records and documentation of services via electronic tablet as required
·
Manage and complete daily routes as scheduled
·
Complete all required trainings
Requirements:
·
High School Diploma / Potential waiver may apply.
·
Two years of driving experience
·
24+ years of age
·
Valid driver's license
·
Less than 4 points on the license
·
Pre-employment Testing including physical, drug and alcohol testing as well as background check
·
Comfortable with GPS navigation
·
Compassionate, dedicated, and reliable
·
Strong initiative and navigation skills
