We're currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to join the team at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

In this pivotal role, you'll be tasked with overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring seamless and accurate order fulfillment while upholding a safe and productive work environment.

What will you do?

Oversee and manage all warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to optimize productivity and minimize errors.
Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, providing guidance, coaching, and training as needed.
Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
Utilize lean six sigma principles to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to drive continuous improvement.
Monitor and maintain cold chain logistics protocols to ensure product integrity and safety.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate and prioritize workflow and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate inventory counts through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
Handle escalated issues and provide timely resolution to ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, enforcing all safety protocols and regulations.
Other assigned duties as needed.

How will you get here?

Education:

Minimum required education: High school diploma required.
College degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 35 years of experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or distribution center environment.
Prior experience operating Forklifts Required (sitdown and reach truck)
Experience in cold chain logistics preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles and experience in conducting audits.
Familiarity with lean six sigma methodologies and experience in implementing process improvements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
Proven experience in leading and motivating a team.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with warehouse management systems (e.g QAD, SAP, Oracle, or any WMS,) a plus.
A valid forklift operator license is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 25lbs

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $77,300.00-$115,900.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
