Description

The Ministry of the Interior and Local Government of the state of Brandenburg (MIK), located in Potsdam, is seeking a Sachbearbeiterin/einen Sachbearbeiter (w/m/d)* for fire protection matters for the Referat 34 starting on September 1, 2024. This is a full-time position, with a salary range of A 13g BbgBesO or E 11 TV-L** depending on the fulfillment of personal and job-related tariff requirements.

The Referat 34 currently has 29 colleagues responsible for tasks such as fire and disaster protection, promotion of volunteer work related to fire and disaster protection, coordination center for crisis management, civil defense, military affairs, technical supervision of the state school and technical facility for fire and disaster protection, and the fire department's career ordinance authority.

Your responsibilities

You will be a member of the fire protection working group, consisting of four colleagues, and will be responsible for the following tasks:

Processing of fire prevention and forest fire protection matters
- Independent handling of inquiries and fundamental matters, preparation of statements and management proposals
- Answering parliamentary inquiries
- Participation in working/project groups for the further development of fire protection
- Supervision of the forest fire competence center
