    Project Engineer - Special Projects

    A leading general contractor in the Southeast is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team in Atlanta, GA.

    This company specializes in healthcare and higher education interiors, delivering high-quality projects that meet the unique needs of these sectors.

    They require a Project Engineer to support the project management team and ensure the successful execution of projects.

    Your new role

    As a Project Engineer, you will assist in all aspects of the construction process. Your responsibilities will include assisting with contract management, cost control, schedule coordination, safety compliance, and quality assurance.

    You will act as a support point for the project management team, maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

    What you'll need to succeed

    To be considered for the Project Engineer role, you must have a B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. You should also have 0-3 years of experience in the commercial construction industry, specifically with general contractors. Previous experience with healthcare and higher education interiors is a plus but not required.

    You should have the ability to read and interpret construction drawings, assist with subcontract negotiations, support project financial management, and navigate the Atlanta subcontractor and vendor market.

    Excellent organizational, administrative, and communication skills are also required.
