Job Description:
As a medical assistant trainee at Fort Calhoun, you will receive a dual education consisting of practical and theoretical components.
You will be trained at two locations:
the central emergency department at MariaHilf Hospital in Brilon and the vocational school in Brilon.

During your training as a medical assistant, you will primarily work in our central emergency department, but also spend time in the radiology department, laboratory, operating room, and endoscopy unit.
Depending on your year of training, you will have 12 days of vocational school per week. As a young and modern company, we place great value on a positive atmosphere and teamwork.Your Responsibilities:
- Patient care and coordination
- Practice management
- Assisting in emergency situations and appointments
- Interdisciplinary emergency care
- Providing competent care to patients as part of the therapeutic team
- Driving change processes and developing tasks in the best interest of our patients
- Administrative tasks such as patient data management
- Communication with patients and the team

- Ability to handle stress (remain calm in hectic situations, quick reaction time)
