A day as a Driver:

Transportation of meals, meal carts, and any equipment needed between our main facilities, third party vendors, and LAX airport
Load/unload aircraft according to airline regulations, specifications and equipment handling
Ensure flights are always catered correctly
Cater to DO&CO's client's airlines and handle airlines equipment expeditiously and safely
Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook
Comply with all LAX, CBP, DOT and all other applicable rules/regulations
Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team
Ensure all vehicles are maintained in full working condition (including fueling and pre/post checks) and report any vehicle irregularities to dispatch immediately
Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Who you are:

Have 1 to 3 years of experience as a CDL Driver
Have a valid commercial driving license type A or B
Able to obtain a LAWA Airport ID with a Drivers Icon and CBP Icon
Able to manage through a substantial workload
Able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to seventyfive (75) pounds
Able to work at heights up to 2025 feet
Regularly stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours
Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment
Able to complete assigned tasks within the given time to meet strict deadlines
Flexibility (able to work different shifts days, nights, weekends, holidays)
