- Maintain knowledge of all menu options, take orders, and serve the prepared items to the guests
- Provide legendary Starbucks service throughout every guest encounter
- Prepare drink orders according to Starbucks standards
- Manage cash bank, ensuring balance is accurate at the end of the shift
- Check in warehouse orders and put items away in a timely manner according to procedure, utilizing proper signage
- Ensure adequate supplies are available for the shift, including ribbons, comp paper, cash drop envelopes and receipt paper
- Retain receipts for all transactions, and records and reconciles transactions on the point of sale system
- Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow employees
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience
- 6 months of previous experience working in high volume, fast-paced restaurant or coffeehouse environment preferred
- Previous experience working in a team or group environment
- Prior experience with Infogenesis systems preferred
- Able to effectively communication in English, both written and verbal
- Basic computer skills preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
- Health
- Frequently push and/or pull up to 35 lbs.
- Frequently lift and/or carry up to 35 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and/or chest levels
- Occasionally squat, kneel, climb, sit, and communicate via radio
- Frequently distinguish between shades of color, taste, and use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
