- Processes benefit changes on a daily basis
- Manage monthly invoicing process for 200+ companies with an aggregate report
- Weekly EDI feeds to ASO providers and carriers
- Coordinate with software provider on a daily basis
- Submit tickets and follow through to resolution
- Implementation of new groups
- Handles data transfers with ASO provider
- Resolves claim discrepancies with ASO provider
- Prepares and distributes invoices to all franchisee members ensuring enrollment changes and qualify events are processed accurately and timely
- Implementation of new HRIS system with team
- Management and process improvement of employee self-service modules
- Interface development between employer clients' payroll systems and HRIS system.
- Research monthly billing discrepancies for members
- Verifies the calculation of the monthly premium statement for all group insurance policies and maintains statistical data relative to premiums, claims and costs
- Manage monthly, multi-step invoicing process, requiring advanced level Microsoft excel skills
- Preparation of annual 5500 filings with team
- Resolves administrative problems with the carrier representatives
- Works with benefits administration/HRIS provider to implement annual plan changes
- Maintains files of history, data, correspondence, reports and forms
- Oversees record keeping and retrieval methods in compliance with government regulations
- Keeps current on regulations pertaining to the Affordable Care Act, COBRA and the Department of Labor that may affect the program and/or its participants
- Four-year college level degree in information systems, human resources or related field
- Five plus (5) years in benefits or related benefits administration with specific knowledge of benefits administration/HRIS systems
- Must have experience and knowledge of PC-based computer systems with a strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel
- Strong interpersonal and customer services skills
- Good knowledge of company and departmental policies and procedures

JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Benefits Analyst is responsible for the administration, oversight and maintenance of Elevanta's benefits administration/human resources information system (HRIS) and all required program reports. Our HRIS system is utilized to manage our unique self-funded employee benefits program. The Benefits Analyst has frequent contact with our third-party software provider, ASO provider and insurance carriers as well as our employer groups participating in the program and their employees. The individual must possess a working knowledge of employee benefits programs, government regulations, file feed requirements, exceptional advanced Microsoft Excel skills and generating reports.
