Mechanical Facilities Engineer - TS We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Facilities Engineer to handle HVAC and Plumbing design for a variety of national defense projects. The ideal candidate needs to be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS SCI clearance.

Job Description The Mechanical Facilities Engineer will develop HVAC and Plumbing/Piping systems for an exciting range of mission projects.

Plan, carry out, and coordinate detailed phases of HVAC and Plumbing design work
Develop mechanical construction and equipment specifications
Conduct engineering quality assurance checks
Support new project proposals with mechanical discipline scopes
Interface with Federal, State, and Local government client contacts

The Mechanical Facilities Engineer will play a vital role in a team of architectural and engineering staff who produce project design packages. Periodic travel to project sites, including international locations, may be necessary.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Sciences in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program
Minimum eight (8) years of experience
PE License required
Current passport required
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination necessary for access to client site
Active United States Government Top Secret Security Clearance

Skills and Abilities

Proficiency in HVAC and plumbing/piping systems design
Experience in sizing and selecting HVAC and plumbing/piping equipment
