Title: Activity Specialist
Job Responsibilities: The Activity Specialist delivers direct client services within the Program Services Department. Working under the guidance of the Activity Director and/or Program Director, they evaluate clients' functional abilities and requirements. The role involves offering a wide array of client-centered, therapeutic individual and group activities. The main objective is to help clients enhance their independence and develop the specific functional skills essential for living in a less restrictive community setting.

About the Campus: The Crestwood Center San Jose Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) located on our San Jose campus is conveniently situated near mental health support services in Santa Clara County. The San Jose PHF offers a spacious environment with common areas such as living rooms, a welcoming room, visiting space, serenity room, dining area, and a lovely courtyard. The program is focused on restoring hope, self-empowerment, and recovery in each client. The San Jose PHF caters to individuals needing stabilization during acute psychiatric crises. Services include medication management, WRAP, DBT support, welcoming rituals, behavioral interventions, psychotherapy, psychosocial education, and a detailed transition plan for a successful reintegration into the community. Mental Health Rehabilitation Centers (MHRCs) deliver psychosocial rehabilitation programs in secure, residential settings with an emphasis on short stays.
The salary range provided reflects the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of listing. The final salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined by various factors, including skills, experience, licensure, and program requirements. Salary Range: $26—$29 USD
