Blast Cleaning Technologies, Inc. (BCT) has a temporary
Operations Admin position available for this summer This is an in-person position that requires interdepartmental work completed in the team atmosphere and environment at our West Allis, WI facility.

BCT is a leader in blast equipment manufacturing and was founded on repairing, rebuilding and upgrading shot blast equipment.

General Description


Under the direction of the Department Manager/ Supervisor, the assistant will perform a variety of duties in a manufacturing setting.

This position would be
temporary throughout the summer months to assist the manufacturing team in all necessary areas.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

Operations Admin Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate with the EHS Manager to assist in organizing, creating, and updating compliance and safety materials.
  • Create safety tracking documents and monitor training updates, maintaining/organizing current safety records on file.
  • Assist scheduling and production support team by producing and processing Work Orders.
  • Support manufacturing engineering team by producing signage and departmentspecific documentation.
  • Support purchasing efforts tied to safety initiatives.
  • Assist with shop floor safety inspections and audits.
  • Organize and maintain the office/lunchroom supplies, ordering as needed.
  • Gather and/or create materials to assist with companywide events (set up, communication, and execution) coordinating with Human Resources and/or the Employee Engagement Council
  • Assist with processing Engineering Change Notices.
  • Assist with data entry and tracking documents to support various production departments.

  • Detail oriented with strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with competence and accuracy in grammar and spelling.
  • Must be able to read computer generated reports.

Education and/or Experience

  • HS Diploma/HSED/GED or equivalent
  • Age 18 or older

Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general instructions. Read and follow work instruction and read basic mechanical drawings. Read and pull parts from inventory using a pick report. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, and employees of the organization. Communicate clearly both verbally and written.


Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.


Reasoning Ability


Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must have mechanical aptitude working with basic tools. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
