Description
We are currently looking for a Security Compliance Associate to join our growing team. In this position, the Security Compliance Associate ensures cGMP compliance for security operations at IOPS.


In this role, a typical day may include the following:
Performs tasks in all compliance areas of security supporting cGMP and security standards.

This will include working with security and fire/security systems staff to complete routine records review and evaluation of all changes or new systems introduced to security operations.

Completes regular reviews of access rights working with operations within Rensselaer location.


Reviews, edits, and revises controlled documents (access records, logbooks, SOPs, etc.) in accordance with cGMP standards to ensure compliance with written procedures.

Monitors security systems and camera footage to acquire vital data in support of investigations and track efficiency of changes.

Documents all training.

Assists with training of new employees.

Ensures all tasks are performed in a manner consistent with safety standards.

Acts as a liaison between security and onsite quality and regulatory groups.

Able to Gather trends, and analyzes process related data to drive consistency and timeliness.

Enjoy workings closely with security leadership to support investigations as needed.
You must be able to work 1st shift (8am-4:30pm) Monday-Friday schedule. Applicants should ideally have a BS/BA in criminal justice and relevant biotech or pharmaceutical experience. Relevant biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience may be substituted in lieu of educational requirement. Experience with JCI P-2000 and Verint systems preferred.


Security Compliance Associate I: 0 years or HSD/GED with 2+ years of related experience.


Security Compliance Associate II: 2+ years or HSD/GED with 4+ years of related experience


Security Compliance Associate III: 4+ years or HSD/GED with 6+ years of related experience


Security Compliance Associate IV: 6+ years or HSD/GED with 8+ years of related experience
Level will be determined based on qualifications relevant to the role.
