For our renowned client located in
Lemmon Valley, NV, we are currently seeking a
Customs/Foreign Trade Clerk (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible as part of a long-term temporary employment with the option of permanent employment.

Your responsibilities:

Examination and documentation of prohibitions and restrictions (VuB)
Obtaining and verifying necessary documents for import customs declaration
Determining the applicable customs procedures while considering economic aspects
Checking tax assessments, including import duty invoices
Preparation of monthly reports for the Federal Statistical Office
Monitoring of import declarations (within the framework of IKS)

Your profile:

Completed commercial training required
Several years of relevant professional experience in customs law with a focus on export
Very good German and English skills
Advanced knowledge of SAP, Assist4 is an advantage
Proficient in using MS Office
Good knowledge of customs tariff nomenclature is a plus
Good knowledge of common customs procedures
