Occ Summary
Perform a variety of complex technical duties involved in conducting laboratory tests, experiments and determinations in support of Duke University research operations.
The Meyer Lab in the Department of Biochemistry is looking for a research technician to join our team of highly motivated scientists as we investigate RNA modifications and their roles in cellular function.
This position provides opportunities to contribute to a variety of ongoing research projects in the lab studying RNA regulation and using cutting-edge methods to understand functional roles of RNA methylation in the control of gene expression.
We are looking for someone who is highly organized, excited about science, and who works well with a team. Prior experience in molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, or a related research field is preferred. Experience and willingness to handle mice is also preferred.
