SUMMARYThe Software & PLC Equipment Engineer will be responsible for Software & PLC maintenance and management of Wafer equipment at the new QCELLS factory in Cartersville, GA.
The Equipment Engineer will be a vital member of the Software & PLC team and will work closely with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations.*This position requires to receive training in South Korea for two months.
Detailed information will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for tasks related to equipment PLC maintenanceManage Backup & Upgrade of new equipment PLC dataHandle the equipment PLC improvement project progress and managementCoordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of equipmentEstablish PLC Troubleshooting procedures and take measures with trainingPrepare reports for scheduled meetingsPerform other related duties as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSAbility to recognize and provide equipment PLC failure analysisExperience in PLC control configuration and maintenance management LC modification and interpretation skills Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical and mechanical engineering, or related engineering fieldsMore than 3 years of experience in equipment PLC control developmentExperience in carrying out equipment PLC improvement projectsExperience or qualifications in the semiconductor or photovoltaic industryProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant softwarePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSAutomation equipment improvement project management skillsBilingual in Chinese or Korean preferredHanwha Q CELLS provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
